Responsible for standardization of design materials, furnishings, and design details organization wide
Works with Material Management, Environmental Services, Infection Prevention, and other internal departments to ensure standardizations are incorporated, maintained and meet other organizational standards and requirements
Provides maintenance protocols to Environmental Services to ensure correct maintenance protocols are used to properly maintain standardized products and materials

Required Education : Bachelors of Interior Design Degree from CIDA- (Council for Interior Design Accreditation) accredited college / university.
Two- (2) year apprenticeship under professional interior design mentor. Successful completion of NCIDQ (National Council of Interior Design Qualification) national interior design exam
Required Experience : Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project (or equivalent software packages). Minimum of ten (10) years of interior design and project management experience.
Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare specific interior design and project management experience. Proficiency in AIA / industry-wide drafting standards to convey design to bidders and tradesmen.
Working knowledge of ADAAG, IBC, NFPA, BIFMA, ASTM, and local codes and requirements
Preferred Experience : Proficiency in graphic programs such as Photoshop, InDesign, Sketch-Up. Proficiency in 3-dimensional BIM software.
Fifteen (15) years or more of interior design and project management experience. Ten (10) years or more of healthcare-specific interior design and project management
Required Certifications and Licensures : Valid Virginia Driver's License. Certification through the VA Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation Board of Architects, Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, Certified Interior Designers and Landscape Architects.
Professional member of either ASID (American Society of Interior Design) or IIDA (International Interior Design Association).
Must meet CEU requirements for above certifications
Preferred Certifications and Licensures : LEED Certification and CEU requirements
