Know Your Rights : Privacy Notice for California Applicants : ResponsibilitiesThe Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) Procurement coordinator is responsible for purchasing parts, equipment, materials and services to ensure Plant Engineering operations’ needs are met.
Duties include meeting with Facilities’ Operations department associates regarding services and purchasing requirements and maintaining services such as HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing.
Has basic knowledge of Healthcare Engineering / Plant Operations. Communicates with vendors regarding requirements, discrepancies, pricing, substitutes, and services.
Prioritizes duties based on urgent needs. Processes and organizes purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents for Accounts Payable.
Selecting service providers, suppliers, negotiating prices and delivery dates, approving purchase requisitions / orders, and following up on purchases regarding delivery date, discrepancies, and backorder situations.
Prepares documents for a variety of parts, services and equipment utilizing Microsoft Office. Provides input into the development of policies and procedures, arranges for the disposal of obsolete equipment, and maintains purchasing related files and records including up to date catalogues and price lists.
Demonstrates proficiency in MS Office.This role is based full time in office. LI-VR2 #OnsiteQualificationsRequired qualifications : One year experience in MRO procurement preferred.
Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing equipment, supplies and policies and procedures.High School Diploma and 2 years’ relevant experience required.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.Strong planning and organizational, critical thinking and decision-making skills.Must demonstrate analytical, mathematical, decision-making, and negotiating skills.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $21.
00 to $27.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
