Job Title : AP Specialist
Location : Grapevine, TX (onsite until fully trained, then remote work)
Duration : 6-month contract + extensions
Compensation : $20-24HR + (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k )
Desired Skills and Experience :
Under direction of a manager, enter invoices and resolve invoice issues with vendors and other internal departments in order to ensure payment in timely manner.
- Streamline, standardize and document AP processes.
- Process vendor invoices for payment and ensure that payment is made and received in a timely manner.
- Review vendor statements for missed payments as needed.
- Contact internal departments to resolve invoice problems as they arise; investigate discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders and contact appropriate department(s);
contact warehouse to resolve invoice shortages or non-receipt.
- Contact vendors to resolve invoices with discrepancies or obtain copies of invoices.
- Reconcile travel expenses and corporate card, as assigned.
- Processing of checks and ACH, as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Degree required.
- At least 3 years Accounts Payable experience in high volume / complete transaction environment required.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and SAPS4
