Lockheed Martin Space in Highlands Ranch, CO seeks a Program Management Senior Manager VI (Global Communications Program Manager) to be responsible for all technical, cost, schedule, and risk performance on the Kirameki 4 / 5 program. In this role, you will also be responsible through the bid-phase of the campaign for establishing program baselines and estimates with the Capture team. You will be US-Based and will coordinate Japan-based program activities. This role must engage with the LM team located in Japan and must interface with the internal LM Space Functional and Product Center organizations. In this Senior Manager role, you will be responsible for achieving 100% mission success and business commitments, and fully utilize programmatic resources across the Lockheed Martin Corporation and teammate companies to achieve the Program objectives.
Primary duties include :
Establish executable baselines through the proposal and Executive Planning Panel (EPP) release process.
Execute the Kirameki contract baseline and manage prime contract changes to cost, schedule and technical baselines across all segments.
Participate in customer evaluation processes.
Establish strong customer counterpart-relationships and maintain quality communications with key customer personnel.
Provide open, honest, and effective management communication and enables technical communication to leadership and team members, as well as external stakeholders.
Participate in programmatic reviews to assure related technical, schedule and cost opportunities, risks and issues as well as programmatic opportunities and issues are identified and resolved per plan.
Proactively keep program executive management apprised of issues and recovery plans and employ positive interpersonal and communication skills that encourage and guide organizations and employees and advance teamwork, ensuring "no surprises", and including external stakeholders as necessary.
Work in conjunction with Program Office (F&BO, Contracts, Chief Engineer), Space, and ATLO segments to assure engineering development and production activity is effectively executed. Includes working with Supply Chain to assure Supplier SOWs (Statements of Work).
Strong communication and cross organization capabilities to work with the LM IRAD programs and the new Space Product Centers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven track record of successfully interacting with LM Executives, Domestic / International Customers, and Partners
Understanding and successful application of strategic staffing, taking care of employees and developing MA culture
