  • JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE Responsible for leading the strategic development and implementation of automation, artificial intelligence, and ITIL initiatives across the system.

Oversees the integration of technologies to enhance operational efficiencies, improve patient care, and promote innovation and continuous improvement.

Collaborates with business partners and peers to gather, translate, and transform business requirements into effective technology solutions.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

Information Services is committed to providing leadership, support and coordination of technology at Samaritan Health Services.

The IS Apps Delivery and Ops function manages the operations of our existing services and implements new technology into the organization on behalf of our business customers.

Our team includes the 24 / 7 service desk, application operations and implementation teams.

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in a computer science related field or equivalent experience required.

Master's degree preferred. Five (5) years experience in IT innovation, including three (3) years experience in a team lead or supervisory role managing information technology professionals, required.

Experience in the following required : Leading system-wide technology initiatives. Artificial intelligence technologies and their application in problem solving.

Experience in the following preferred : A healthcare IT setting and with Epic software. AI tools such as UI Path and Automation Anywhere, and programming languages such as Python, C#, and PowerShell.

Managing in an ITIL environment and utilizing ITIL principles and practices.
