Responsibilities

Our Mechanical Project Managers are responsible for the daily supervision, direction, and coordination of all mechanical construction activities on our projects. This position involves collaboration with mechanical trades superintendents, various subcontractors, and members of the RQ team. We are committed to producing quality work that meets government requirements, targets the budget, and follows the project schedule.

Qualifications

• A 4 year degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management is preferred. A high school diploma or GED is the minimum formal education required for this position.
• Courses in project management, construction management, mechanical trades, BIM and CADD, etc. are preferred.
• Five or more years of experience as a Mechanical Project Manager responsible for multiple projects with a mechanical scope of at least $5,000,000 (commercial / government) is required.
• Five or more years (or equivalent) of field or trade work experience with mechanical systems is highly desirable; government, military, or large commercial construction experience is preferred. Design-build experience is preferred.
• Computer literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Primavera P6) is preferred. Training can be provided.
• Specific software literacy (BIM) is preferred. Training can be provided.
• Travel to jobsites is required.
