Summary
This position will require site visits to support the practices. It can be a hybrid position, working a combination of in person and remotely.
Partners with leadership, managers, staff and clinicians to advance critical enterprise initiatives in performance and quality improvement.
Leads complex projects to design, develop, modify and implement healthcare delivery systems with enhanced quality, safety and value.
Provides a range of consultation services to organizational leaders and department managers on the development and implementation of key strategies for creating and sustaining a high performing healthcare organization.
Offers formal trainings and coaching to staff, managers, clinicians and leaders about change management, systems thinking and data-driven problem-solving to promote deeper understanding of system failures and opportunities for improvement.
Serves as a system-wide resource for applying performance improvement and project management theory and techniques.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education : Associate's Degree with five years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's Degree with three years of relevant experience OR Master's Degree with at least one year of relevant experience required.
Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Business or Healthcare Administration preferred.
License / Certifications : Formal training at the Green Belt level or equivalent required. Formal training at the Black Belt or equivalent is preferred.
Project management certification and facilitation certification are preferred.
- Experience : See "Education". Experience in relevant statistical analysis software is preferred. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of an Improvement Specialist I role.
