Job Description
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Performs administrative tasking in support of all scheduling for the PEI Group
Assists the Project / Program Manager / Lead Project Scheduler and general administrator with programs in the Tidewater area
Increases customer satisfaction through continuous improvement of quality products and services provided to improve company's position in market segment
Communicates with internal staff and / or customers regarding milestones, work-scope and schedules. Gathers, analyzes and submits data to senior management
- Serves as primary support of project by facilitating meetings, presentations, etc
- Works with lead SRC Scheduler in Charleston for all PEI contracts
- Monitors the schedule to assist the onsite management team and platform manager in maintaining schedules
- Analyzes data and makes recommendations for review by senior management and customer review
- Creates reports and reporting tools that will provide senior managers and customers a broad prospective of status, updates, needed changes and up to date status of the project schedules
- Assists in development of presentations for senior management and customer review
Develops project schedules and data calls
Defines and assigns work to engineers, technicians, drafters, logisticians and other personnel assigned to programs
Monitors and controls work in progress for technical adequacy
Provides active assistance to meet schedules or resolve complex technical or customer requirements
Provides programmatic direction to organizational elements executing processes required to provide products and services that meet contract quality, performance, schedule, and cost requirements.
Establishes metrics and monitors progress to ensure contract compliance, customer satisfaction, and attainment of company commitments and objectives.
Reports progress to appropriate levels of management
THIS IS A 90% SHIPBOARD position
Requirements
MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS :
- Two plus (2+) years of experience using MS Project and Excel
- Expertise in MS Project to include Scheduling, Resource Loading, and Critical Path Analysis
DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS :
- Experience reading or understanding shipboard engineering drawings preferred
- Understanding of US Navy ships and shipboard operations preferred
SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE CITIZENSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR A GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
