Overview : Our Consumer Manufacturing Client is seeking a Technical Writer to join their team in Fort Washington, PA. This individual will work with the operations packaging and maintenance team to update manufacturing procedures and related documents in the system TrueView.
They will conduct internal and external vendor collaboration and interviews to create comprehensive process documentation and develop troubleshooting work instructions to improve minor stops and process failures on production lines.
They will manage document changes, meet deadlines, and ensure clarity in complex manufacturing processes. The Technical Writer will research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with packaging and maintenance departments to understand project requirements.
They will gather information from subject matter experts and develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.
Qualifications :
- 2+ years experience with technical writing
- Experience in writing documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences
- Excellent written communication skills
Compensation :
$30 / hr to $40 / hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and / or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
