Job Description :
The Application Administrator I is responsible for the design and configuration of both vendor-purchased and NMHC-developed applications.
This role serves as a liaison between designated department super users, application vendors, education, and support staff, ensuring smooth application upgrades, handling service requests, and optimizing performance.
The Application Administrator I specializes in one primary area, which may include customer access, revenue cycle, clinical, ancillary department, or administrative / corporate applications.
As a team member, this role often receives work direction from the IT Application Administrator Lead or IT Project Manager.
Additionally, the Application Administrator I collaborates closely with IT Resource Educators and Customer Support staff to maintain and support the application system environment.
Requirements : Education :
Education :
BA / BS in information technology, healthcare, or a related business field, or a Certified / Associate degree with 3 years of relevant application use in a business or healthcare setting.
Experience :
- One (1) to three (3) years of professional experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for process improvement and problem resolution.
- Knowledge of customer service methodologies and accountability.
- Demonstrated interest in learning new technologies and applications.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
