We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Music Teacher to inspire our kindergarten and elementary students through the joy of music.
Job Description : The Music Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive music education program for students in kindergarten through elementary school.
This includes teaching basic music theory, vocal performance, and introducing various musical instruments. The ideal candidate will create a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to explore their musical interests.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and deliver age-appropriate music lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
- Introduce students to a variety of musical genres and instruments.
- Plan and conduct school performances and concerts.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love of music.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate music into the broader curriculum.
- Maintain and care for musical instruments and classroom equipment.
Qualifications :
- Some degree in music education, Music, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of music theory, vocal techniques, and various musical instruments.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and engage students of all skill levels.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in organizing school concerts or musical events.
- Proficiency in playing multiple instruments.
- Previous experience teaching music to young children, preferably in a school setting.
