Job Title : Litigation Attorney (Construction Litigation)
Location : Atlanta, GA

Our client, a boutique, Atlanta based commercial / business litigation firm is seeking to add an experienced attorney with a passion for construction litigation.
The firm provides a professional, supportive, and positive environment while striving to act as advisors and consultants to their clients.

Position Overview :
They are looking for an attorney with 5+ years of experience handling all facets of construction litigation, from pre-litigation evaluation and negotiation through trial.
The ideal candidate will have construction litigation experience and familiarity with Georgia lien laws. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join a firm that values professionalism and client-focused service.
Responsibilities :
- Draft pleadings and engage in motions practice.
- Conduct discovery, including document review and e-discovery.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Handle hearings and mediations.
- Prepare for and participate in trials and / or arbitration hearings.
- Engage in direct interaction with clients, providing advisory and consultative support.
- Incorporate overall litigation strategy into day-to-day tasks.
- Ensure compliance with the Georgia Civil Practice Act and local rules.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial litigation (construction litigation in particular).
- Proven ability to litigate construction litigation cases from start to finish.
- Construction litigation experience is required.
- Familiarity with Georgia lien laws.
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills.
- Ability to meet a 1500 billable hour requirement.
Salary / Compensation :
- Competitive salary ranging from $145,000 to $175,000.
- Uncapped bonus plan based on quarterly billable hour goals.
