As part of the Global manufacturing excellence team, the Operational Excellence Deployment Lead will contribute to the development and anchoring a best-in-class scalable and modular manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement framework for dsm-firmenich;
comprising the development and deployment of tools, trainings and practices across the BU's aiming to generate year over year productivity & efficiency while ensuring top service performance, a safe work environment, quality and inventory turns improvement in the most environmentally friendly and sustainable way.
Key Responsibilities :
- Contribute to reshape and redesign the blended and updated Manufacturing Excellence Framework of a leading €14 B, 150 plant Company.
- Active participation in the revamping of the Continuous improvement framework and roadmap.
- Coach and train teams on the new CI journey ways of working.
- Perform / support sites CI Diagnostics, improvements and health checks in sites as described in our new revamped CI roadmap.
- Be an ambassador for the overall Lean Six Sigma training deployment program.
- Orchestrate best practice and knowledge sharing forums.
- Execute benchmarking exercises.
- Participate in overall GOE communication strategy and deployment.
- Participate in the deployment of performance recognition programs.
You Bring :
- Master’s degree by education and extensive working experience and high expertise in manufacturing / operations.
- Certified LSS Black Belt with 5 to 10 years of experience in the LSS world or a Master Black Belt.
- Profound knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma in the field of operations, consulting in & outside dsm-firmenich.
- Know the industrial competence developments in several geographical areas.
- Know the external benchmark about what world class is.
- Must be able to act independently.
- Willing to travel 50%.
