Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Human Resources team with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and compliance
- Assist with benefits administration, leave programs, answering questions related to benefits and open enrollment
- Full cycle recruitment and onboarding
- Employee relations, disputes, terminations and investigations
- Assist with all payroll related activities and inquiries
- Respond to HR inquiries and assist with communication of employee requests
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Work collaboratively with the HR team to achieve results related to company initiatives
- Demonstrate and promote core values and company culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and SHRM-CP or PHR Certification preferred
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft office Suite
- Manufacturing and / or union environment experience is preferred but not required
- Experience working with different HR Functions including employee relations, benefits administration, recruiting and talent acquisition, training and development, compensation, onboarding and orientation
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with a high degree of accuracy, problem-solving skills, adaptability, confidentiality
- The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills and enjoys interacting with the employees at the organization
Compensation
- This is a direct hire position with salary range of 60-70k with flexibility depending on experience
- This position offers growth potential and the ability to work within the different HR functions
