Calling Open Source developers, especially in Geospatial (GeoNetwork, GeoServer, Mapnik) and AWS DevOps environments (NodeJS in serverless, Docker, CI / CD).
If you want to work on some of the biggest geospatial platforms creating developer stack components that will impact the nation, this position may be for you.
We need a highly motivated solution architect type (or aspiring application architect looking to grow) who in the first month on a new Federal client, can ramp-up quickly into supporting tasks in the sprint cycle.
We’re looking for a lead developer who enjoys open source, geospatial (e.g. FOSS4G) component re-use and expanding on libraries, cloud development, growing under solution architects, and coaching others.

Geospatial Application Stack : NodeJS, GDAL (ogr2ogr), PostGIS, GeoServer, GeoNetwork, TileGarden, Python Notebooks, Leaflet, Cesium, Light AngularJS, light Python,
AWS Cloud Stack : AWS DevOps Serverless Framework , Lambda, EC2, IAM, SQS, SNS, SES, S3, CloudFront, Microservices, Containers (Docker, Fargate, ECR, ECS), CI / CD Pipelines for CodeBuild / CodeDeploy
Team Tools : VSCode, Docker, GIT, JIRA, Unix Shell
Position Requirements :
8 years experience in similar role
3 years in Open Source Geospatial Application Stacks
3 years in AWS with either AWS Solution Architect Certification or 5 years in AWS Engineering / Architecture (will pay for certification if not in first 2 months)
Bachelor's Degree related subject matter (Computer Science, Geography, Data, IT)
Able to pass basic NACI, background, drug and reference checks
Have a home office to work remotely. Likely no to very minimal travel
Local to Denver is not necessary if you bring additional experience and strong communication, leadership skills.
