Responsibilities :

  • Develops and increases sales revenue to meet assigned targets.
  • Develops customer relationships including but not limited to sales leads, research, cold calling, qualifying leads, developing leads and customer service.
  • Visits customers to identify sales opportunities and to manage renewal negotiations.
  • Represent Benning Power Electronics at trade shows and other industry related events.
  • Acts as a resource to customers in contract opportunities and proposals.
  • Stays informed of new products and services offered by Benning and by the competition.
  • Coordinates and assists with leading sales meetings and product trainings.
  • Create effective sales tools for performance monitoring and tracking.
  • Various other tasks as required to support customer base.
  • This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Successful Candidates will require these skills :

  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering (EET), Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of sales and marketing experience, preferably with Electrical experience.
  • Technical Aptitude with the ability to successfully educate and sell Industrial products and services.
  • Knowledge and understanding of utility connected power conversion technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in Spanish a big plus but not required
  • Proven leadership and business acumen skills.
  • Well-developed negotiation, project and account management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals and / or groups at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
  • Up to 70% Travel is required
  • Previous experience in DC power plants, AC power, inverters, rectifiers, BDFB’s, and other power distribution equipment
