Amuneal Manufacturing is seeking a dedicated Laser Operator + Programmer to join our fast-paced, dedicated, and extremely talented team.
Candidates should bring in a high level of excitement and punctuality. They will be responsible for performing set-up and production operations on projects of a wide variety, while maintaining standards for safety & quality.
This role will operate on a 4 day, 10 hour work week of 6 : 00AM-4 : 30PM Monday-Thursday.
Responsibilities :
- Import parts, create nestings, process NC code, and run cutting programs on Trumpf Trulaser 1030 Fiber Laser.
- Measure parts using calipers to ensure accuracy.
- Complete in-process inspection reports to maintain quality standards.
- Handle materials, including stainless steel, and ensure proper storage and usage.
- Perform routine maintenance on the Trumpf Fiber Laser.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Read and interpret technical drawings to set up and produce parts.
Qualifications :
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Punctual and reliable with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in the use of calipers and profile gauges for precision measurement.
- Ability to perform machine setups and follow technical instructions.
- Experience with programming fiber laser cutting machines in Trumpf TruTops Boost.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suites and material logging.
- Familiarity with reading and understanding technical drawings.
- Basic math skills for precise measurement and setup.
- Experience working with stainless steel and other metals.
- Previous experience working with tight tolerances.
