Global Class 111 Medical Device Manufacturer seeks a highly organized Document Control Specialist to handle :
- Document preparation : Creating document templates, converting information into user-friendly documents, and numbering and labeling documents
- Document storage : Using document management software to scan and upload paper documents, ensuring that documents stored in legal compliance
- Document retrieval : Retrieving documents for authorized personnel
- Document search : Searching documents such as scientific literature, guidance, etc., required for regulatory reporting (i.e., weekly, monthly).
- Document security : Maintaining the security of confidential documents, and implementing strict security measures to protect them from unauthorized access
- Document review : Reviewing documents for accuracy, and making needed revisions
- Document progress reports : Producing progress reports for senior managers
- Document audits : Conducting regular document audits
- Document training : Training on document systems
HR Controls :
- Maintaining records : Keeping employee records up to date
- Recruitment : Assist with recruitment, including publishing job posts & scheduling interviews
- Training : Coordinating training required by state or federal government
- Benefits : Presenting new employees with benefits packages
- Policies and procedures : Providing information on HR policies and benefits

WE REQUIRE :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in document control, in the medical device industry a plus
- Familiarity with FDA regulations, ISO standards, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Experience with electronic document management systems
- Excellent organizational and file management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Understanding of document lifecycle management
- Understanding of data privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
