Accounting Manager (Financial Reporting)

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join our financial reporting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and filing of SEC reports (including 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc.

ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and providing technical accounting guidance. This role requires a thorough understanding of SEC regulations, US GAAP, and a strong background in financial reporting.

Essential Job Duties :

SEC Reporting :

• Prepare and file all required SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Proxy Statements, etc.) accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with all SEC and GAAP regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors to support annual audits and quarterly reviews.

Financial Reporting :

• Manage the preparation of consolidated financial statements and related disclosures.
• Review and ensure the accuracy of financial information in SEC filings and other internal materials.

Technical Accounting :

• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and new accounting pronouncements.
• Research and interpret new accounting standards and SEC regulations.
• Prepare and maintain documentation of accounting policies and procedures.

Internal Controls :

Ensure compliance with internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR).

Collaboration :

• Work closely with various departments, including Accounting, Finance, Legal, and Investor Relations to gather necessary information for SEC filings and other internal materials.
• Collaborate with external auditors, legal counsel, and accounting team on technical accounting issues and SEC reporting requirements.

Team Leadership :

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of financial reporting professionals.
• Provide training and guidance to ensure the team remains current with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in financial reporting, including SEC reporting, in a public company or public accounting firm.
• Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus.

Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.

$115,000 - $125,000
