The role
suits an excellent communicator with experience leading a team and building scalable, complex invoicing solutions. The candidate should be hands-on, proactive, and excited by the challenge of building out scalable solutions at a high-growth company.
What you'll do
- Responsible for designing and implementing the automation of Oyster’s customer invoicing reconciliation process
- Define and administer a global customer invoicing policy
- Responsible for the integration of customer invoicing data between our product, data warehouse and ERP solution (NetSuite)
- Responsible for owning the accuracy and completeness of customer invoice data in our data warehouse
- Responsible for the execution of accurate and timely billing of all customer invoices
- Develop KPI’s and deploy reporting and process monitoring tools
- Implement strong controls and ensure the compliance of all systems, policies and procedures
- Key collaboration with P2P, payroll data, and transformation teams
- Manage a team of multiple direct reports
What we're looking for
- At least 7 years of Accounts Receivable experience and at least 3 years in a manager role
- Candidate must be able to prove they have played a lead role in implementing an automated reconciliation function at a volume-driven fintech and / or payments oriented business
- At least 3 years of experience in designing and owning complex, data heavy reconciliation processes between data warehouses and ERP solutions
- Proven credentials in high volume data analysis; using SQL for example
- Proven experience and knowledge of accounting
- Track record of finance transformation achievements; specifically finance system integrations
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven managerial experience across time zones in a remote environment
- Superb attention to detail
- Superb data skills (excel, Gsheets, data extraction)
