Capital One is looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our Sales Data Team, dedicated to innovating and optimizing our data pipeline architecture.

In this crucial role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining sophisticated data pipelines that ingest data from major auto customers, utilizing advanced AWS services including EMR, S3, and EC2.

Your work will directly empower sales associates by providing actionable data insights and analytics that drive business development and strategic decision-making.

With your expertise in Python and cloud-based data solutions, you will play a key role in enhancing our analytics capabilities and transforming raw data into valuable business intelligence.

What You’ll Do : Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologiesWork with a team of developers with deep experience in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full stack systemsUtilize programming languages like Java, Scala, Python and Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases and Cloud based data warehousing services such as Redshift and SnowflakeShare your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community.
