Work you’ll do
As a Payroll & Processing Senior Analyst for our federal sector client, you will :
- Verify and enter employee personnel data into PeopleSoft; including appointments, terminations, and retirement
- Enter hours worked and leave without pay (LWOP) of assigned pay groups and review and validate pay period reports
- Process, record, and submit the following : cash receipts, EFT rejects and reversals; Thrift Savings Plans (TSP) retroactive cases, adjustments, and file reconciliation; and IRR card balances
- Analyze, prepare workups, and submit Federal Employee Retirement System (FERS) systems corrections
- Reconcile, prepare, and submit assigned state / local tax deposits and coupons / returns for biweekly and monthly pay cycles
- Process, print, and file W-2Cs and corrected 1099R requests
- Review, verify, and process bi-weekly load reports for : Federal Employee Health Benefit (FEHB), FSA refunds, TSP loans, severance payments, Voluntary Separation Incentive Pay (VSIP), cash and non-cash awards, and taxable relocations, reimbursements, and fringe benefits
- Prepare debt collection and overpayment documents related to uncollected taxes for 3rd party relocation, Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY), Relocation Incentive Tax Allowances (RITA) and taxable reimbursements
- Confirm involuntary wage attachments are entered, computed, and deducted in accordance with applicable law and authority
- Process all manual check adjustments to include reversed checks, overpayments, death claims, and relocation payments
- Assist with special projects or task as assigned

Qualifications
Required :
- 2 years of experience with HR operations and financial services related to payroll, personnel action processing, and executive services
- Experience with providing Human Resource support services to a federal sector client
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust clearance for this role
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
This position is for our Washington, D.C. office. We operate in a hybrid work environment, and Deloitte professionals are expected to collocate in the office or client sites up to 50% of the time (2-3 days per week).
