Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will :
- You will be supporting development of advanced airborne systems including podded communication link and sensor systems, airborne armament equipment, alternate mission equipment, cockpit displays, avionics, and radar systems.
- Additionally, this role will support the integration of new and existing systems onto airborne, shipborne, and ground vehicles.
- The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design of new products and test hardware
- The engineer will utilize their mechanical engineering expertise during the proposal and concept evaluation, product development, production, and qualification testing phases of new product design.
- The engineer will create design solutions that meet product requirements using 3-D CAD modeling software and will be hands- on supporting production, integration, and testing.
- The engineer will develop solutions which leverage commercial off the shelf (COTS) products paired with custom hardware.
- The engineer must be capable of researching and distilling information from vendors and collating information.
- The engineer shall perform design reviews, equipment integration, profiling, and testing.
- The engineer will provide leadership on mechanical issues to the project team, working closely with systems, electrical, and test engineers.
Required Skills :
- Ability to work onsite at our Indianapolis, Indiana facility with an Integrated Product Team being hands on with hardware.
- Experience in the design, integration, or testing of mechanical components and assemblies
- Competent using 3-D CAD Modeling Tools (CREO preferred)
- Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, (ASME Y14.5 standards)
- Proficient at one or more of Aircraft Structures Design, Ground Structures Design, Electronics Packaging, or Platform Integration
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) degree program
PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS :
Pay Range* : $65- $73 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
