As a design initiator you will lead project teams through a collaborative design process, generating and advancing thoughtful physical and environment-responsive analyses and cutting-edge design strategies for a range of project types.
As a senior studio member you will interface with consultants and clients and provide guidance to staff. Understands emerging trends in open space and landscape environments Collaborates on a wide variety of projects including college and university campuses, urban districts, site-specific design, and other public realm projects Manages development of design solutions and graphics to support landscape, planning, and urban design projects Leads and manages design development and documentation including construction drawings, technical details, and specifications, and construction administration Assembles and participates in client presentations Maintains a professional profile as a thought leader in the field, including speaking publicly and authoring publications Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking functions Secures new business through client relationship development and participates proactively in marketing efforts Mentors Page landscape architects, guiding their professional development and identifying ongoing training and resource needs Qualifications 10+ years of landscape architecture design Professional degree from Landscape Architectural Accreditation Board (LAAB) accredited program.
License to practice landscape architecture and ability to be certified with the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards.
LEED accreditation is desirable and / or SITES certification (preferred) Experience managing teams across geographies. Portfolio of creative landscape architecture projects demonstrating conceptual design abilities Understanding of and ability to communicate landscape architecture concepts, objectives and critical issues graphically and verbally Command of thoughtful programmatic and physical analyses Experience preparing and giving client and public presentations Experience on large-scale / highly complex projects for a variety of client types.
Strong knowledge of sustainable design principles and practices Experience in business development Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, ArcGIS, Revit, Rhinoceros, and / or other 3D rendering programs such as Enscape or Lumion Base Compensation : $95,000-$130,000 (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and / or location).
