Your Opportunity : Taylor Corporation is looking for a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee the second shift production teams, including Kitting, Wide Format, and Print on Demand.
Your Responsibilities :
- Ensure staffing levels are sufficient for all all daily print requirements and projects that are due for each day.
- Nightly updates on the progress of areas of production.
- Report all issues and delays (Email) directly to the Production Manager and the CSR responsible for the account. This will ensure all communication is documented.
- Production TOS Boards review Audit schedule, cleaning schedule, monthly A4, Updated metrics.
- Ensure all print devices are passing G7 color management standards at the beginning of each shift.
- All production departments will be clean and put back in order at the end of each shift.
- Attend afternoon production meeting.
- Review all upcoming projects and be proactive in communications with all concerns and actions that need to be followed up on.
- All large digital orders must have first sheet sign off in order to start the project.
You Must Have :
- Ability to read, interpret, and decipher general written instructions from documents such as work orders, parts orders, safety regulations, operating procedures, or other job specific written documents
- Ability to speak and communicate effectively with fellow employees
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Prior leadership experience
