This person would coordinate and participate in recruitment activities in the office of recruitment and engagement, contribute to the planning and execution of multiple student-facing events, and provide administrative support.

Duties & Responsibilities
Duties
- Coordinates and conducts College Information Sessions for prospective students and guests
- Represents the College of Science at high school visits / fairs
- Plans and executes VIP visits and tours for prospective students and their families
- Maintains social media engagement with prospective students
- Maintains a steady flow of communication with prospective students
- Supports the Director with training and coordinating Science Ambassadors
- Assists the Director of Recruitment with planning of events and ceremonies with high impact on student participants including winter and spring convocations, the new student welcome event, winter and spring undergraduate award ceremonies, spring graduate award ceremony, and others as needed
- Works weekends, evenings, and travels locally periodically
- Maintains a calendar for the Associate Dean
- Manages grade appeal and academic integrity violation reports, forms, and deadlines
- Assists with coverage in the front office as needed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Excellent customer service to provide tailored experiences for prospective students and families
- Adept with Microsoft Office suite and virtual tools / resources
- Excellent use of time management and organizational tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with diverse audiences

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree related to job requirements and 3 or more years of experience in student recruitment, event management (small and large scale), and / or program coordination in higher education.
- Presentation and public speaking experience
- Event management and coordination experience (small and large scale)
- Experience creating social media content & multimedia technology skills
- Availability to work occasional evenings, weekends and travels locally periodically
- Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive according to the University .
