We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to lead our distribution center team in efficiently managing the VAS, inbound, outbound, and LTL operations for parts and equipment distribution in the HVAC industry.
This role will oversee a team of supervisors in these areas, as well as collaborate closely with the Administrative Team Lead and Master Scheduler.
The successful candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, strong knowledge of distribution center operations, and a track record of driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities :
- Team Leadership and Supervision :
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors in VAS, inbound, outbound, and LTL operations, ensuring efficient and effective workflows.
- Set clear performance goals and expectations for supervisors, conducting regular performance evaluations, and providing feedback and coaching for their professional growth.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and a culture of continuous improvement
- Distribution Center Operations :
- Oversee and optimize all aspects of VAS, inbound, outbound, and LTL operations to meet customer requirements and ensure on-time delivery.
- Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, including process improvements, automation, and technology enhancements.
- Monitor key operational metrics, analyze data, and develop action plans to address areas of improvement and achieve operational targets.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.
- Collaboration and Integration :
- Collaborate closely with the Administrative Team Lead to manage administrative responsibilities, streamline processes, and ensure effective coordination with operational activities.
- Work closely with the Master Scheduler to optimize inventory management, production planning, and resource allocation.
- Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and customer service, to improve overall supply chain effectiveness.
- Continuous Improvement and Innovation :
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Six Sigma methodologies, to streamline processes and drive operational excellence.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in technology, and regulatory changes, integrating relevant insights and innovation into distribution center operations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Proven experience in operational leadership roles within a distribution center, preferably in the HVAC or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of VAS, inbound, outbound, and LTL operations in a distribution center setting, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and related software applications. - Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and experience leading continuous improvement initiatives is beneficial.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

Compensation :
Salary : $95,000 - $125,000 Total compensation will include an incentive.
