Community Troop Experience Manager
Position Summary : Reporting to the Director of Community Troop Experience, The Community Troop Experience Manager is responsible for providing leadership, support, and guidance to staff-led troops within the Girl Scouts organization.
This position oversees the day-to-day operations of staff-led troops, fostering a positive and inclusive environment for girls.
Duties and Responsibilities : Supervise full time youth development staff that oversee the delivery of Girl Scout programs to targeted community youth organizations and schools Support team development, reinforce problem solving and conflict resolution, and evaluate staff performance Responsible for tracking and documenting information required for grants and contracts Provide professional leadership and daily supervision to ensure robust program delivery and attainment of membership goals Foster community relationships to maintain maximum opportunities for service delivery and to secure new partnerships.
Design and implement presentations to community groups and organizations Support the policies, procedures, and ongoing fund development efforts of the Council Model behavior consistent with the mission and purpose of Girl Scouting Experience, Skills, and Qualifications : Organized self-starter, with strong time and task management skills, the ability to juggle competing priorities, multiple projects, and team members’ needs.
Energetic team worker and good communicator, comfortable in an environment where teamwork involves constant feedback and learning.
Ability to both contribute to direction setting and to take direction when given. Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent relevant experience Minimum 5 years’ experience and demonstrated track record in managing people in a youth-serving organization Strategic thinker, highly organized, demonstrated hands on experience with proven ability to multitask, handle pressure and meet deadlines Demonstrated excellence in written and communications skills, and demonstrated ability to manage staff and influence others to achieve results Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends required Experience and sensitivity in working with diverse people and volunteers Reliable vehicle and relevant automobile insurance Powered by JazzHR
