The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, ensuring a positive experience at all times.
As a Patient Services Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, and will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare setting.
Your ability to maintain a professional attitude, answer telephones, and speak and write clearly will be essential to your success in this role.
You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and will be responsible for front desk duties, hospital billing, and medical terminology.
Minimum Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a healthcare setting
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficient in medical terminology
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications :
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field
- Experience with physician office operations
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Responsibilities :
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer telephones and direct calls to appropriate personnel
- Schedule appointments and maintain patient records
- Process hospital billing and insurance claims
