Department Position Summary :
Collaborate with stakeholders to successfully plan and monitor onboarding activities including, but not limited to completion of onboarding tasks, itinerary development for their start, and 'check-ins' post hire.
Build relationships by communicating regularly with new physician prior to hire, including sending welcome emails and other communications to keep the candidate informed about credentialing progress, onboarding progression, and plans for their start.
Ensure that all administrative and logistical issues have been addressed prior to start date, including but not limited to employee ID and access, computer access and training, online safety training, lab coat, employee health, and development of an itinerary for their start.
Maintain liaison with various Erlanger entities to accomplish onboarding objectives and overcome hurdles. Interface with external organizations or vendors as appropriate to ensure cooperative efforts are enhanced and available resources are utilized.
Assist with planning and implementation of new provider orientations and other department events.
Distribute post hire surveys and prepare reports on the findings for leadership.
Advise director and other relevant stakeholders as to the status of current activities and additional or expanded program requirements.
Make recommendations for solutions to problems identified.
Prepare reports and conduct preliminary analyses. Provide input into appropriate program recommendations or conclusions.
Works with physicians and APPs over the course of several months to obtain privileges and provider enrollment along with completing all the HR specialist functions.
Completes reimbursements and invoice payments.
Coordinates travel for candidates.
Plans / executes the new provider orientation day.
Other duties as assigned.
