POSITION SUMMARY :
The Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst works closely with BrassCraft’s FP&A team, VP-Finance, and the broader Senior Leadership Team to provide analytical support and monitoring in the achievement of financial objectives.
This role will require strong analytical skills, knowledge of GAAP, and a continuous improvement mindset as they work collaboratively across many areas of the organization to build relationships and assist in forward thinking.
This is a hybrid position based out of Novi, MI.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Help drive financial reporting across the organization
- Assist with the development and maintenance of reporting and analytical tools
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities. Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-over-year variance analysis
- Compile and analyze financial reports that indicate trends, helping to identify any potential deviations from plan, quantify financial impact, and provide recommendations
- Cross-collaborate with partners in sales, marketing, engineering, and other functional teams
- Create documentation of current and new financial data and analytics processes
- Adhoc proforma analysis
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 3 years of experience in financial analysis
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Manufacturing company experience
