Overview :
As a Senior Ruby Developer , you will work with a team of developers to deliver software features, APIs, and micros-service solutions.
We are looking for candidates with experience with 5-7 years experience writing software using Agile and DevSecOps methods such as build / release management, CI / CD practices, and test automation.
- Design, develop, and deploy micro-services and cloud-based systems using Ruby / React
- Collaborate with stakeholders, designers and business analysts to refine requirements
- Troubleshoot software quality, security, and reliability issues
- Participate in code reviews and quality assurance
- Automate unit and functional tests
- Identify technical problems, perform root cause analysis, and develop updates and fixes
- Support debugging, troubleshooting, and testing of software
- Document software code, features, and training guides
- Use virtualization and containerization to optimize software systems
- Implement solutions and provide continuous improvement recommendations
- Presenting technical solutions and demos to a variety of stakeholders
Required :
- 5 Years of experience with Ruby and React
- Experience developing software with cloud native services or APIs
- 3 Years of experience using CI / CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Pipelines
- Experience developing in and implementing docker containers
- Experience implementing Automated Testing frameworks including unit testing
Preferred :
- Experience supporting technical demonstrations or tech challenges
- 5+ years of application development in an Agile environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills
