Job Title : Assistant Director of Facilities
Reports To : Director of Facilities
Status : Exempt, Full Time
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervision for department supervisors when the Director of Facilities is not available
- Manage Maintenance Personnel on a daily basis
- Responsible for hiring, training, motivating, evaluating the performance of all assigned staff
- Manage daily and preventive maintenance work orders
- Review completed work orders
- Manage ADP Payroll and time off requests for all Maintenance Staff
- Schedule and supervise all maintenance staff to support functions and outside group events
- Inspect all Facilities regularly to ensure facilities are in operating and safe condition
- Identify needed repairs and take corrective action
- Perform related duties to assist the Director of Facilities
- Respond to emergency calls after hours and take corrective action
- Schedule service contractors for preventive maintenance or needed repairs
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in related field or relevant job experience required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position
- Ability to work well with vendors, employees and other stakeholders
- Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
