- Knowledge of automotive vehicle structures with hands on experience in CAE
- Good understanding of basic Engineering fundamentals
- 6+ years of experience. Should have experience of ANSA and STAR CCM
- Responsible for building full vehicle CFD simulation models for thermal simulation in StarCCM+, which includes :
- retrieve and prepare CAD parts for CFD simulation modelling; clean, mesh and separate geometry for proper CFD modelling.
- Gather appropriate modelling parameters for : material properties, porous media, rotating fans and wheels, convective heat transfer boundary conditions, operating conditions
- Run full vehicle simulation models, post-process to make reports using standard format with conclusions and recommendations based on CFD analysis and make presentations in meetings as person in charge (PIC).
- Good exposure in Thermal simulation
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills are highly desirable
