Job Summary
The Sales & Marketing Representative plays a critical role in driving business growth and expanding market presence for Houston MRI®.
This position focuses on developing and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare providers, generating new business, and increasing service utilization across all imaging facilities in the North Houston region, including Cypress and The Woodlands.
You will engage in community outreach, build brand awareness, and strategically explore new markets. Reliable transportation is required for travel between locations and community events.
Essential Job Functions
- Build and maintain relationships with referral sources to generate a consistent pipeline of imaging orders.
- Strategically target and engage potential referral sources by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to drive business growth and increase service utilization.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with community outreach and visibility initiatives.
- Represent Houston MRI® at healthcare and community events across the North Houston region to identify new opportunities and promote services.
- Monitor competitive activity in the region and report findings to management.
- Prepare and submit daily call reports, weekly work plans, and regional analyses using the company’s CRM software.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
- Promote teamwork and positive morale within the Houston MRI® employee community.
Educational & Skills Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of sales or marketing experience, ideally within the healthcare or diagnostic imaging industry.
- Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and marketing automation tools.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and outpatient imaging procedures preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with physicians, medical staff, and clients.
- Reliable transportation required for daily travel between Cypress, The Woodlands, and other locations within the North Houston region.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
The work is performed in a medical office setting with a moderate noise level. This job occasionally requires the employee to stand, walk, sit, use hands, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, and read.
