Applications System Analyst

Primary Location : Raleigh, North Carolina

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for an Applications System Analyst for our premier client in Raleigh, North Carolina .

Education and Experience

• Ability to create and maintain SQL queries, BI dashboards, JIRA, Microsoft office documents (ex. SP, Project. Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint) : 5 Years
• Strong verbal and written communication skills : 5 Years
• Strong business analysis skills and research capabilities : 5 Years.
• Knowledge of relational databases in a client server environment : 5 Years.

Highly desired :

• Healthcare IT : 5 Years.
• Experience with clinical data ETL techniques, data verification, data quality management, and validation : 5 Years.
• Experience with analyzing and documenting processes and requirement specifications and developing clinical workflows : 5 Years.
• Knowledge of clinical standardized code systems such as CPT, LOINC, and ICD-10 : 5 Years.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Subject matter expert (SME) level of knowledge working with clinical data, EHRs, HL7 v2 and C-CDA messages.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and health care regulatory compliance as they relate to Electronic Health Record (EHR) / Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and Health Information Exchange (HIE).
• Experience with Microsoft Office Tools, including Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact and communicate effectively with non-technical clients.
• Mature knowledge of health information exchange data standards and formats, including knowledge of Electronic Health Record Systems’ (EHRs) data architecture.
