Shopper Marketing Coordinator
Location : Tyler, TX Job Summary
Coordinates marketing efforts with the marketing department, category management department and supplier community to ensure efficiency of vendor-funded shopper marketing programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinates marketing promotion process through communication with category managers and vendors and presenting information to the sales and marketing committee.
- Works with category managers to direct and maintain the ad planning process.
- Sends out bills to suppliers for planned promotions. Ensures proper payment is received in a timely manner.
- Responsible for maintaining and distributing master list of ongoing promotions containing information on vendor agreements and promotion requirements.
- Develops a timeline for the development of each promotion. Monitors progress and notifies partners and suppliers of upcoming deadlines.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with suppliers to streamline promotional information, distribute deal sheets and ensure proper billing of marketing fees.
- Maintains knowledge and awareness of performance of ongoing promotions to alert category management leaders of issues and concerns.
- Receives and responds to promotional inquiries from partners, vendors and customers. Obtains input from appropriate leader when necessary.
- Works with analysts to evaluate promotion results and reports results as needed.

- Basic mathematical skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Basic knowledge of SAP reporting and transactional applications.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret information.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications
- Associate's Degree and two or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and higher education required.
- Minimum of 18 years of age required.
- Continuously required to use close vision, distance vision, depth perception or the ability to focus.
- Continuously required to use fine finger movements (ex. sorting and typing).
- Continuously required to talk and hear.
- Frequently required to use hands for reaching, touching or handling.
