Job Description
Tide Pool Play’s toy rental subscription service is a novel concept with a growing nationwide customer base. Our small business seeks a reliable and creative social media intern to help grow its Instagram and TikTok presence.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our company’s mission to create a waste-free, reuse model for toy consumption as well as develop your social media skills in a professional capacity.
We are especially interested in a candidate skilled in photo / video editing, passionate about sustainability, and building awareness about sustainable practices.
This position is flexible and averages 5-7 hours per week. The position requires 2-3 hours of work on-site.
Job Responsibilities
Photograph / film our toy inventory to create engaging social media posts
Write brief but engaging content for social media posts
Moderate comments / inquiries across social media platforms
Assist with social media analytics and reporting
Help grow and develop our social media presence and following
Become familiarized with circular economy / reuse trends and other mission-based sustainability brands to create content
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Advanced knowledge of popular social media platforms
Ability to capture professional-looking photos / videos
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and creative
Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in marketing or a related field of study
