This position will be supervised by Stephanie Lerner, the ELC Director, who is eager to support educators’ personal and professional growth.
Candidate Qualifications : Warm, engaging, creative and enthusiastic. A strong knowledge of child development and an understanding of best practices in early childhood education.
Works collaboratively with fellow staff members, families and the community. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
EEC certified. A desire for professional growth in a supportive, inspiring teaching community. Hours of Operation are 8am-5pm.
This is a full time position, 35-40 hours / week. Benefits : Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, generous paid time off, sick leave, professional development and education stipend, opportunity to contribute to a pension fund, discounted Early Learning Center tuition for teachers’ children ages 18 months-5 years.
