Description

Kinesis is seeking a self - motivated and detail-oriented candidate to join our small but talented Manufacturing Team. The candidate will primarily spend their day preparing sub-assemblies and parts for our Manufacturing Team to use in the production of high-end ergonomic computer input devices.

Related experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities include :

• Hand-assembling electronic components (eg screwdriving, ribbon cables, springs, magnets, glue, press-fit)
• Soldering
• Heat-staking
• Quality control testing
• Communication with the manufacturing team to ensure that sub-assembly supply is maintained.
• Troubleshooting / repairing sub-assemblies, parts, and devices.
• Completing paper forms relating to work assignments, quality control, and customer returns
• Work closely with supervisor to ensure daily production targets are met and time is allocated appropriately between multiple tasks.

Qualifications :

• Manufacturing experience is not required but is preferred.
• Strong verbal communication skills in English.
• The ability to receive and implement written and verbal instructions.
• Able to work collaboratively with team members.
• Motivated to get things done quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Willingness to learn about computer peripherals (keyboards, mice etc).
• High School diploma or equivalent (*College Degree a plus, but not required).
• Available to work Monday-Friday 7 : 00am 3 : 30pm.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment some of the time.
• Good dexterity and able work with hands.

Compensation :

This position will be paid on an hourly basis, and the rate will depend on experience and education. Kinesis currently provides fully paid health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability insurance as well as life insurance, paid time off starting at three weeks per year (accrued each pay period), and a retirement plan.
