Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting for a Project Engineer 3 in Los Alamos, NM.
Located in beautiful northern New Mexico, Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is a multidisciplinary research institution engaged in strategic science on behalf of national security.
This position will support the Los Alamos National Laboratory as a Navarro employee in a staff augmentation position.
Supervises the engineering activity (all disciplines) on a project, or designated portions of a project, for a global business unit.
Plans and directs engineering assignments on the project. Demonstrates technical responsibilities for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating these assignments.
Requirements
Position typically requires a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
Specialized courses in relevant general engineering, architectural design or an appropriate engineering discipline, and 10+years of progressive work experience , including supervision, preferably in project design engineering;
may include other relevant types of engineering including startup, field engineering or plant operation in large industrial plants, utilities, process plants or engineering / construction firms.
Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and / or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
