The Position
The Director’s responsibilities will cover the Women’s Health, Biosimilars, Fertility, Diversified Brands and Medical Device portfolios, which will include, but not be limited to, the following :
Pricing Stewardship / Facilitator of Pricing Decisions
Serves as a price consultant for the development of the Long-Range Operating Plan and Profit Plan.
Manages pricing proposals and their corresponding approvals for in-line and new products. Ensures that pricing strategies and initiatives are consistent with overall our Company's pricing policies and procedures, including legal considerations.
Provide strategic pricing support to establish the strategy of new products.
Maintains the Grant of Authority to ensure it remains in compliance with approver rights.
Maintains the Compendium of Price Authority to ensure it remains in alignment with approved pricing proposals.
Manages the WAC Price Change Price implementation process which includes mobilizing personnel and communicating the price change to internal and external personnel.
Manage the WAC price implementation for new product launches and ensure pricing agencies and customers are notified.
Maintain price history repository and database.
Update and maintain the US product price catalog.
Provide audit support and documentation for both internal and external pricing audit teams.
Manages Terms & Condition of Sale proposals and the corresponding approvals.
Act as the point to all vendor programs in support of company supplemental returns programs.
Develop pricing responses as appropriate to Federal Bid Opportunities.
Review and approve pricing actions for Puerto Rico as consistent with US authority.
Maintains internal price reporting monitoring price performance in collaboration with Finance Gross to Net and relevant Business Unit (BU).
Creates the annual Price Plan in collaboration with Finance.
Business Development Support
Provide subject matter expertise as it relates to pricing and access for business development opportunities.
Develops the perspective of the US Market Access opportunity and GTN forecast in the assessment of Business Development activities.
Develops tools, resources, and research capabilities to support the assessment of Business Development activities.
Value-Based / Non-Traditional Contracting
Develops the framework for the application of value-based / non-traditional contracting constructs.
Serves an advisor the Business Unit Leadership regarding the potential application of non-traditional contracting approaches across the portfolio.
Competes the requisite analysis and diligence to support the financial viability, operational capabilities and Legal / Compliance considerations for these alternative contracting strategies.
State Price Transparency Reporting
Co-Create response to state regulations with State Government Affairs, Compliance, and Legal.
Respond to state requests for additional information, as requested.
In collaboration with compliance and Legal, plan for and deliver reporting requirements for key states for in-line products and new product launches based on state deadlines.
Identify new questions as they arise. Develop responses by identifying subject matter experts, draft responses and gain stakeholder approval.
Act as a content expert for responses by our company and other manufacturers.
Vendor oversight in identify state reporting requirements by state and product.
Oversee preparation of recurring state reports.
Required Education, Experience and Skills
Bachelor's degree.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in one or more of the following areas : Marketing, Market Research, Global Market Access, Analytics.
Experience in leading cross-functional teams.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated capability to think strategically.
Strong analytic background.
Advanced MS-Access and Excel skills
5% Travel.
Preferred Experience and Skills
Experience with pricing and reimbursement in US.
Understanding of US product contracting environment.
Government pricing calculation experience.

The applicable salary range for this position in the U.S. is stated below. Benefits offered in the U.S. include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation and holiday time, paid caregiver / parental and medical leave, and health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
Annualized Salary Range (US)
$148,800.00 - $253,300.00
