ROLE SUMMARY
This role leads a team to provide initial and ongoing content creation and training delivery for account management, account directors, payor access, FRM and Integrated Team for customer facing colleagues in the United States.
This role oversees the design, development and implementation of general account management, retail, field reimbursement, access and reimbursement and integrated account team related training strategy and programs for all commercial colleagues across business units, as well in-depth trainings for relevant colleagues.
This role will be a member of the Customer Engagement Training leadership team, will work across the LT for needed cross-functional coordination and will serves as a core partner to business leaders over such functions to ensure strategic partnership and alignment.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and develop direct reports for optimal skills needed to shape, evolve and deliver best-in-class training results.
- Ensure all training curriculum has been developed and delivered in compliance with Pfizer legal requirements.
- Ensure clear goals (metrics such as training effectiveness, value, and impact) and sustainability strategies are in place and measured for core role curriculum.
- Gather best practices and share across needed multi-stakeholder groups and the Customer Engagement Training leadership.
- Act as a thought leader and stay updated in Account Planning and Management and payor and healthcare market (Medicare, Medicaid, 340B, Oncology Care Models, Buy &Bill, Health Plans, PBMs, GPOs, Specialty Pharmacy etc.)
- Partner effectively with all internal partners (BU Leadership, US Market Access, KAM Leadership, Cross BU Working Group, Marketing, Medical, Sales, Regulatory Legal, Compliance, Global Skills Development, etc.
to evaluate and prioritize training needs of general and BU-specific Account Management, FRMs, Retail and GA&V teams.
- Lead the design, development, delivery, and continual updates of training strategies and programs for account management, field reimbursement, retail, access and reimbursement in alignment with business strategies.
- Develop, maintain, and update curriculums of the Pfizer Integrated Account Teams, Account Management, Retail, FRM and GA&V Core Skills Curriculum
- Work with Customer Engagement Content Development Teams to fill training gaps and emerging needs
- Conduct regular reviews with Key Business Stakeholders to ensure the curriculum meets requirements for engaging with business customers and accounts
- This role will manage approximately 9 colleagues.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 15+ years of training, sales, account management, key account management, payor access, retail and reimbursement related experiences or combination of experiences
- Excellent managed markets, access and reimbursement knowledge including strategies and models associated with Pfizer products.
- Deep experience and knowledge of the principles, concepts and theories with account management
- Understanding of the bio pharma industry and the ability to translate business needs into training strategy
- Previous experience leading people and matrixed organizations within commercial (i.e. sales, account management, marketing etc.
including developing people to meet goals, providing constructive feedback, and employee motivation.
- Executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally
- Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of building partnership, interacting with stakeholders at varying levels, and working collaboratively across functions to meet share objectives
- Outstanding presentation, facilitation and writing skills
- Ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
- Strong record of coaching teams to achieve personal and organizational goals
- Project Management experience and organizational abilities to simultaneously manage multiple complex projects
- Demonstrated creativity skills, with a track record of creating innovative ideas, develop new and better ways of working
- Ability to make sense of complex information to make sound judgment and decision making with minimal direction
- A track record of holding self and others accountable to meet commitments
- Experience leading a diverse team to achieve common goals, leveraging diverse perspectives.
- Ability to understand the business environment and objectives and develop solutions accordingly
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Familiarity with Pfizer systems and the use of technology in training

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $226,200.00 to $377,000.00.* In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 25.

The United States salary range provided does not apply to Tampa, FL or any location outside of the United States.* The annual base salary for this position in Tampa, FL ranges from $203,600.00 to $339,300.00.
