Position Summary
- Manage, supervise, oversee, review and coordinate accounts payable activities for the Accounting Division of the Department of Finance and Administrative Services and various City departments and divisions;
- ensure financial controls are maintained; transactions are accurate; and ensure operational procedures are enforced, in place, and followed at all times to prevent loss of City funds arising from fraud, employee error, misrepresentation by third parties, or imprudent actions by City employees;
ensure work quality and adherence to established policies and procedures; coordinate assigned activities with other divisions, departments and outside agencies and provide highly responsible and complex administrative support.

Minimum Education, Experience And Additional Requirements
Education and experience directly related to the minimum requirements below may be interchangeable on a year for year basis.
Exception : The twelve (12) required credit hours in accounting are not interchangeable.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration to include twelve (12) credit hours in accounting with a passing grade of 'C' or better; and
Five (5) years of financial data analysis experience in accounts payable; and
To include Two (2) years supervisory experience.
