Job Description

Jefferson Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Capture Manager to as part of our Growth Office. As a member of the Growth Office, the Senior Capture Manager will lead efforts to capture and win opportunities for unrestricted (full and open) federal civilian agency opportunities.

This role is remote. This is an individual contributor role that reports to the Chief Growth Officer.

Responsibilities :

  • Plan, organize, and manage captures.
  • Develop the capture strategy and plan and achieve approval from the Executive Team.
  • Develop a clear win strategy.
  • Develop client profiles, including client needs, issues, hopes, and desires.
  • Lead competitive assessments.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with potential clients and partners.
  • Drive the capture efforts from qualification through to submission and contract award, ensuring focus on what is needed to win and successfully deliver the contract.
  • Collaborate with internal resources to develop desired solutions.
  • Coordinate with internal resources.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in capture.
  • Deep relationships with decision makers in USAID, HHS, USDA, State, or DOT.
  • Experience capturing and winning unrestricted (full and open) funded professional services opportunities relevant to Jefferson’s offerings in acquisition, grants management, human capital, mission support, and program management.
  • Winning track record as a capture manager.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills and proven ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to potential clients and to our proposal team.
  • Ability to interact and communicate professionally with company leadership, partners, and clients.
  • Ability to work with flexibility in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Expert at Microsoft Office product suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).

Preferred Qualifications :

Shipley certified.
