Job Description
Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Complex Mobility Purchasing Agent or Buyer / Expediter position. The Complex Mobility Purchasing Agent or Buyer / Expediter is responsible for acquiring the necessary goods and services for maintenance, repair and resale of Complex Mobility items.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Review vendor qualification and selection
- Negotiate prices, terms, rebates, freight, etc.
- Responsible for the scheduling, ordering and expediting required goods and services
- Control the necessary equipment, merchandise and services for a constant flow with a minimum inventory
- Assist Complex Mobility Director as required to develop and maintain list of Preferred Providers
- Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent, college degree preferred
- Rehab experience necessary
- ATP certification preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to accurately enter data into computer and acquire a working knowledge or any software applications necessary to the position
- Perform basic mathematics calculations
- Perform task requiring manual dexterity (i.e. processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, etc.)
- Sit for extended periods of time
