Estimator - Commercial Waterproofing / Roofing - Texas (Remote)
Gryphon Oakwood is seeking a motivated individual to join the team as a Commercial Waterproofing Estimator, for a National Commercial Roofing & Waterproofing Contractor.
The Waterproofing Estimator is responsible for accurately assessing and quantifying the costs associated with waterproofing projects.
Leveraging historical data, contractor quotes, and on-site surveys, the Estimator will develop comprehensive cost analyses and scope of work estimates.
They will effectively communicate these estimates to clients and stakeholders, providing detailed explanations of pricing and cost factors, including projected maintenance expenses and product longevity.
Key Responsibilities :
- Generate detailed cost of estimates for commercial roofing projects
- Gather data related to materials and labor costs
- Create cost comparisons with historical data of similar projects
- Solicit cost estimates from contractors
- Monitor progress of existing projects
- Bid scopes of work for current and potential customers
Qualifications :
- At least three years of experience in estimating, preferably in a field related to commercial roofing or waterproofing
- Knowledge of contract relationships, subcontracting, and vendor relationships
- Ability to read blueprints
- Strong computer proficiency
