Marketing Resource Manager, Global Campaigns & Virtual Programs

As the Marketing Resource Manager on this team, you will utilize project management tools (Workfront preferred) and tactics to organize the operationalization of our digital marketing programs that span the globe.

You will have a background in Agile or Scrum methodologies and experience effectively managing team resources, leading standups, and with resource reporting and forecasting.

This role requires a self-starter who is versatile, organized, and has excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.

Success in this role demands keen attention to detail, an awareness and responsiveness to deadlines within realistic limits, and the ability to set expectations.

The ideal candidate enjoys a fast-paced environment, thrives under ambiguity, and embraces change passionately. They possess above-average communication and facilitation skills, are well-organized, and exhibit exceptional follow-up and follow-through abilities.

They facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution within the team.

Key job responsibilities

  • Understand priorities, groom the backlog, and set and deliver on sprint commitments on Workfront
  • Own the management of the digital sprint process including capacity planning, resourcing evaluation, capacity forecasting, and reporting
  • Keep the team organized, on track, and focused on prioritization for core marketing stakeholders
  • Communicates project status, progress on deliverables, and risks / issues to stakeholders
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
  • Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict / clear obstacles
  • Self-motivated, has the ability to deal with ambiguity, and can influence without authority
  • Collaborates with campaign and program managers, digital marketing, and field marketing stakeholders to create the best experiences for AWS customers

Minimum Qualifications

  • Knowledge of project management tools
  • Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process
  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
  • Experience equally comfortable building strategic marketing plans and executing at a tactical level

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700 / year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
