HCAT Sales Engineer

Expectation

The HCAT Sale Engineer oversees the activities related to the sale of HCAT technology. He interacts daily with all the teams involved in Commercial activities, projects quotations and projects execution.

This includes the Tech Service, Engineering Department as well as Finance Department, Legal Counsels, Supply Chain at HTI or Axens NA.

He reports to the Senior Commercial Director.

Main Responsibilities

HCAT Sales Management

• Defines key targets, ensures annual sales budget (revenues and gross margin) is met for the customer(s) or exceeded, as well as other performance objectives provided by the Senior Commercial Director
• Define re-load opportunities, with regular updates of overall market mapping
• Maintain customer records per guidelines with emphasis on contacts, scheduled meetings, call reports and important documents
• Assist in preparing and present commercial proposals
• Assist in organizing and participate in sales and technical conferences

HCAT PRODUCTION FORECAST

• Forecast annual, monthly and quarterly sales revenue and product demand in forecasting system.
• Update on an ongoing basis, with a final monthly update for production planning purposes and financial forecasting
• Communicate customer logistics needs so that internal resources can be properly prioritized.
• Manage directly some SAP activities & interact with Axens Logistics teams as well as HTI’s tolling partner or HTI’s hipping partners.

Technical & Behavioral Requirements

Technical

• Basis in Catalytic Processes and refining
• Demonstrated ability in areas of time management / organizational skills.
• Ability to understand a sense of confidentiality.
• Knowledge of SAP (or similar ERP system) and Customer Relation Management (CRM) program experience required.
• Proficiency in the use of all Microsoft Office tools, including Word and Excel

Required Competencies :

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field. BA or BS level is recommended.
• 1st Experience dealing directly with customers would be a plus.

• Assist in achieving Business Unit, Regional and Global Environmental Management Program goals and objectives
