Supervises and oversees the daily operations of the Pre and Post Analytical Operations in the outreach clinics and physician offices.
Maintains cutting edge competencies and conformation to standards for successful accreditations. Works closely with the Director, Section Supervisors, Phlebotomy Supervisor, Lead Phlebotomists, Processing Supervisor, and System Analysts to provide the most efficient cutting edge, customer friendly services for all of our Patients, Clients, and Health Care Providers.
Ensure quality of information used to process specimens by maintaining open communications with all of our Clients. Must have a pleasant personality with a cooperative team spirit.
Promotes a positive customer service friendly image to clients, patients, visitors and other hospital personnel. Responsible for yearly evaluations and competency checks for assigned individuals.
Assists the laboratory director with tasks related to the general operation of the laboratory. Requires satisfactory completion of an MT Program, MT(ASCP) certification or equivalent, with a Bachelor’s degree, desired.
Business experience, with a Bachelor’s degree, acceptable to the Laboratory Director will also be considered.
